1. How many times a day or week do you communicate with clients? Operators?

Ruth Strange: On average, I communicate with clients and operators about 2-3 times a day, which helps us maintain a strong and responsive relationship with them.

2. Can you tell us about your background and journey that led you to your current position at Poole Audit?

Ruth Strange: I started my career with a large O&G company in the revenue department and rapidly advanced to become a Controller in another company. I've worked in both onshore and offshore oil and gas accounting. However, after 25 years on the other side of the table, I decided to pivot to auditing oil and gas companies, which ultimately led me to my current role at Poole Audit.

3. What is your current role and specific responsibilities as a part of the management team?

Ruth Strange: As the Internal Operations Manager, my responsibilities encompass every aspect required to ensure the smooth operation of our audits.

4. What do you believe sets Poole Audit apart from its competitors in the industry?

Ruth Strange: What sets Poole Audit apart is our extensive experience in audits and our background in the industry. We're a smaller company that is entirely devoted to client recoveries, and we're known for our tenacity in ensuring higher recoveries.

5. Outside of work, how do you like to spend your free time? Do you have any hobbies or passions that you pursue?

Ruth Strange: I enjoy bird watching, watching sports, particularly Major League Baseball and college softball, reading, and working on puzzles. These hobbies provide a welcome escape and relaxation.

6. Are there any specific activities or sports that you enjoy participating in or watching during your leisure time?

Ruth Strange: I enjoy playing pickleball, cornhole, and watching college softball and professional baseball, as well as football.

7. How do you find a balance between your professional responsibilities and personal interests?

Ruth Strange: Balancing work and personal interests can be challenging for me, as I place great importance on delivering quality work.
